NHC provides a balanced meal to members Monday-Friday.
NHC is a safe, supportive environment within the community for individuals who have experienced mental/emotional challenges.
NHC also offers daily activities identified by members as valuable and helpful to improve their quality of life by increasing socialization and decreasing isolation in a warm, safe meeting place.
Daily check-ins- Talking with members to see how they are doing, and what we can do to help them.
Member Meetings- Encouraging leadership and empowerment, where members can have a say in center operations, increase confidence, share ideas, help to plan events and activities.

NHC also offers part-time employment to members Members experience improvement in overall quality of life by being employed and earning an income. Staff and volunteers will provide members with outreach and referral information over the grant period as needed by members.
