Northern Hope Center is thrilled to announce the launch of our Supported Employment Program, a transformative initiative designed to empower individuals with serious mental illness and other barriers to secure meaningful work and achieve greater independence.
What Is the Supported Employment Program?
This program provides personalized support to help members identify their career goals, develop job skills, and find and maintain employment in the community. Our approach is rooted in the belief that employment can be a vital step toward recovery and improved well-being.
What We Offer:
- Individualized Career Counseling: Tailored guidance to identify interests, strengths, and employment opportunities.
- Job Readiness Training: Resume writing, interview preparation, and workplace skills development.
- Job Placement Assistance: Help finding suitable job opportunities with local employers.
- On-the-Job Support: Coaching and support to help members succeed and thrive in their roles.
- Ongoing Follow-Up: Continuous support to address challenges and ensure long-term employment success.
Who Can Participate?
This program is open to individuals aged 18 and older with serious mental illness, including those with co-occurring substance use disorders. We also welcome adolescents aged 16–18 with severe emotional disturbances.
